Greater Purpose understands the importance of obtaining meaningful, sustainable employment which allows individuals to secure stable and safe housing.

Unemployment, underemployment, and low wages relatively cause a domino effect that has burdened many families with the risk of becoming homeless or having to decide whether to put food on the table or pay bills, choices no one should have to make. Once a person becomes homeless their ability to secure employment substantially decreases.


There are varying factors which include inadequate educational attainment level, lack of childcare, limited or no marketable work skills, substance abuse , chronic health problems, lack of transportation, bad credit, criminal history, and/or access to proper technology. We also understand that our youth lack the resources to become active and contributing members of society, in collaboration with our community partners we offer an array of programming, training, and volunteer opportunities. Greater Purpose steps in to bridge the gap and offer solid solutions to mediate these problems and propel our members to achieve their goals.
